I. Service Description in Privacy Policy
The Philippine Joyment and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) is a 100% government-owned and managed corporation under the Office of the President, Republic of the Philippines. We are mandated to generate revenues for the government’s nation-building programs, operate and regulate games of chance in the country, and help boost the tourism industry.
While we perform our order, we are dedicated to guarding the privacy policy, confidentiality, and security of the personal data of those individuals or customers doing business with us under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (DPA) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) and other directives as directed by the N.ational Privacy Commission and all other applicable laws.
This Privacy Notice explains how PAGCOR, as a Personal Information Controller, will deal with you as its customers in protecting your data. It answers what information will collect for you, how and why it is collected, stored, used, retained, disclosed, shared, and disposed of, and how you can exert your privacy rights as a data subject/customer.

II. Personal Data That We May Collect in Privacy Policy
The personal data we collect from you or your approved representative are the following, but not limited to:
Personal Information: name, address, job position, work assignment, contact information such as landline and email address or mobile number, sex. IP address, birth date and place, citizenship, payroll and benefits information, and images recorded through CCTV.
Sensitive Personal Information: race, ethnic origin, marital status, years, color, religious, philosophical or political affiliations, health, education, genetics or sexual life, proceedings for any offense committed or allegedly to have been achieved, the removal of such proceedings, the sentence of any court in such proceedings; statement administered by government agencies peculiar to a person which includes, but not limited to, social protection numbers, previous or current health records, licenses or its contradictions, suspension or revocation, and tax returns, specifically established by executive order or an act of Congress to be kept classified.
Privileged Personal Information: data received within a protected relationship, such as husband and wife, attorney and client, and doctor and patient.
III. Collection Method
We collect your data through the submission of application forms, whether written, electronic, or recorded means or any similar manner intended for any business dealing or service you may request from PAGCOR. Your images will also record on-premises installed with a CCTV monitoring system.
We will collect your data under the following conditions:
a) With your expressed consent, unless relevant laws and regulations do not demand us to do so, and your data will not process if without your expressed consent. You can also hold or withdraw consent and personal data previously given. However, we may need help to process your requested service.
b) Only necessary, adequate, and relevant information is requirement to process your requested service and transaction.
Suppose you believe there is an excessive and unjustifiable collection of your data. Please report immediately to the Data Privacy Office.
IV. Timing of Collection
We collect personal data upon submission of application forms, whether written or electronic, or in any similar manner intended for any business dealing or service you may request from PAGCOR. Upon your presence on the premises with an installed CCTV monitoring system, Your images will be recorded.
V. Purpose of Collected Personal Data
Your data collected will be used to process your requested service and transaction with PAGCOR or other legitimate purposes, for example, but not limited to the following:
a) Internal Customers/PAGCOR Directors, Officers, Employees, and their dependents: for employment-related services, concessions, and compliance with government worker requirements.
b) External Customers: applications for employment, license to operate games of chance being regulated by PAGCOR, supplier/service provider accreditation, employment license (GEL); CSR services, contractual partnership;
If you are one of our valued players, your data shall be processed and used for marketing purposes, which may include membership; product and service promotions such as complimentary food and beverages; eligibility promotions on raffles, tournaments, and other events, accommodations, rebates, surveys to improve the delivery of services, validating your identity when you avail discounts and rewards, and other direct marketing initiatives; and other non-marketing purposes such as security and surveillance and responding to complaints.
c) Necessary to protect your vitally essential interests as our customers, including life and health;
d) Purpose in pursuit of the interest of PAGCOR and authorized entities. To whom the data may be disclosed under legal, contractual, and regulatory obligations of PAGCOR; and
e) To respond to any legal procedure of national interest. Such as emergency or compliance with public order and safety to fulfill a constitutional or statutory grant of a public authority. Such as but not limited to the Anti-Money Laundering Council, the bureau, and government agencies. Including law enforcement agencies and courts of law;
By default, our policy prohibits collecting and processing sensitive personal and privileged information. It provided that it requires processing your requested service and transaction with PAGCOR.
If you feel providing sensitive personal information is unnecessary. You have the right to object or refuse to give it away. Please report immediately to the Data Privacy Office. Further, we do not sell your data to any entity.
VI. Storage and Transmission of Personal Data
We will store and manage your written, electronic, or recorded data. It is monitored by the departments or personal information processors, where the specific personal data processing system is utilized to collect your data.

We shall employ appropriate privacy safeguards such as organizational, physical, and technical security measures to rescue your data at rest and in transit against failure, misuse, change, unauthorized or random access or disclosure, alteration, or destruction. We shall take all necessary reasonable steps to address such incidents or breaches and mitigate any adverse effects. If there is a strong suspicion that an incident affects your data. We will notify you of such an incident in an appropriate manner and time.
VII. Method of Use
Player shall use to process requested service or transaction with PAGCOR all personal data from you your . And other legitimate purposes not contrary to DPA, its IRR, and other applicable laws.
You only shall process and accessible your data to those competent and authorized personnel. Disclosure or sharing is subject to organizational or internal controls and policies to protect your privacy, confidentiality, and security.
You shall store physical and electronic records of your data securely for future purposes. And disposing of when no longer necessary or under organizational policies and other laws on records management.
VIII. Location of Personal Data
Your data transmitted to the Information Technology Department for processing and storage are stored on the servers maintained by said department. The department is located at the 10th Floor, PAGCOR Main Corporate Office, iMet BPO Tower, CBP-1A Metropolitan Park, Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City.
PAGCOR does not store or transmit your data to any entity abroad.
IX. Third-Party Transfer
By authorized individuals, You can only access and use your collected personal data. To be shared or disclosed to authorized entities and authorities for permitted purposes under the DPA and its IRR and other applicable laws. If necessary, PAGCOR shall execute data-sharing agreements to protect your privacy.

X. Retention Period
Internal policies and applicable laws relative to retention bound PAGCOR, as a government agency. And dispose of specific documents that may contain your personal data.
PAGCOR commits to delete or dispose of collected personal data if no longer needed or necessary to maintain.

Before collecting your personal data, player will inform of the purposes for which your personal data will be used and your rights as data subjects.
The Right to Access
You have the right to reasonable access to, upon demand, the personal data we collected. Including related concerns, as permitted in the DPA and its IRR.
The Right to Correct/Rectify
You have the right to dispute the inaccuracy or error in your personal data or have us correct it immediately and accordingly.
The Right to Erasure/Blocking in Privacy Policy
You can suspend, withdraw, or order, blocking, removing, or destroying your personal data.
The Right to Object to Privacy Policy
You have the right to object to the processing of your data. In case of any amendment to the information supplied under the right to be informed, You allowed to withhold support

- (b) the collection and processing are for prominent purposes;

You have the right to obtain from us a copy of your personal data processed in an electronic or structured format that commonly used and allows further use.

- PAGCOR reserves the right to revise this notice as may be required under amendments of the DPA and its IRR and the National Privacy Commission issuances. Any revision becomes sufficient upon approval of the PAGCOR’s Board of Directors and shall be posted on PAGCOR’s official website within a reasonable time.
